Heather Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Heather started their career in 1995 as a Speech Language Pathologist at Rehab Choice Incorporated, where they provided screening, assessment, and therapeutic interventions for patients with various conditions. In 1998, they moved to the Special School District of St. Louis County, specializing in speech and language disorders in high school students. Heather also served on the Assistive Technology Team and provided in-services on test modifications. In 2005, Heather joined Software Design Partners as a Business Manager, contributing to the company's software consulting services for multiple industries. Their role involved collaborating with clients to develop software solutions aligned with their strategic objectives.

Heather Williams completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1994. Heather then pursued a Master's Degree in M.S. CCC-SLP from Fontbonne University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1995.
