Roman K. has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Roman started their career as a data journalist at Ukrayinska Pravda in 2015 and worked there until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Roman worked at Corestone Group as a Data Scientist, where they developed and supported various systems and applications related to news theme definition, user monitoring, and data visualization.

In 2017, Roman joined Starpoint Solutions as an R developer, where they adapted statistical models from SAS to R, developed a code testing system, and optimized code using the Rcpp library.

From 2018 to 2020, Roman worked at VEON as a Data Scientist. In this role, they utilized their skills in data analysis and interpretation to support the company's operations.

In 2020, Roman moved to Govitall.com, where they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer until 2021.

Currently, Roman is working at SoftTeco as a Data Scientist, starting from April 2021.

Roman K. completed their education in Sociology and holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree from the University of Helsinki, obtained from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Sociology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2017 to 2019, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the same institution from 2013 to 2017.

Additionally, Roman K. has obtained several certifications, including "Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces," "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction," "Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow," "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning," "Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow," "Deep Learning Specialization," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Sequence Models," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "OpenCV for Python Developers," and "Data Visualization with ggplot2 (Part 1)." These certifications are from institutions such as Coursera and LinkedIn, obtained between 2017 and 2020. Roman K. has also completed various courses in R programming and data analysis through platforms like DataCamp.
