Matt Osborne is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and solutions architecture. Currently serving as Chief Strategist for Blue Light and Defence at Softcat plc, Matt previously held multiple roles, including Managing Director at Abletec IT Solutions Ltd and Co-Director at Alphaport IT Solutions. With a robust background in backup and recovery technologies, Matt has developed expertise in data protection solutions and technical project management. Prior experiences include serving as a Senior Server Infrastructure Availability Specialist for Kent Police, where Matt oversaw the operations of numerous physical and virtual servers, and as Work Control Manager at Xerox UK, managing a large team of engineers. Educational qualifications include an HND in Computing from the University of Greenwich.
