Mason Kresge

Applications Engineer at Soft Robotics

Mason Kresge has a diverse work experience beginning in 2016. Mason started as a Head Coach for Just4Keepers International, where they led and trained groups of up to 30 students ranging from ages of six to eighteen in Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington. In 2016, they also began working as an AMS Galaxy Mechanical Engineer for AMS Galaxy USA. In 2019, they became an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Biomaterials and Medical Device Innovation Laboratory at the University of New Haven, where they conducted research and applied results on coating stability on bio surfaces to improve longevity of artificial lungs, and generated 3D printed flow cells utilizing Solid Works. In 2020, they became an Engineering Tutor at the University of New Haven, responsible for virtual tutoring undergraduates in mechanical engineering curriculums while adapting to various learning styles to achieve maximum effectiveness. Mason also worked on a Senior Capstone Project at Medtronic, creating a prosthetic hand model in SolidWorks. In 2021, they began working as an Application Engineer at Kellogg's Research Labs, where they maximized sales opportunities by applying deep technical knowledge, providing technical advice, support, and expertise to enable and foster expansion through product conception to production. Mason also led and trained cross functional teams for key accounts to ensure up to thirteen simultaneous projects were completed on time and within the customer's budget and quality requirements. In 2020, they also began coaching at Between the Posts Goalkeeping. In 2022, Mason began working as an Applications Engineer for Soft Robotics Inc.

Mason Kresge has a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven, where they studied Mechatronics from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Fleetwood Senior High School from 2013 to 2017. Mason also holds three certifications from United Soccer Coaches: a Goalkeeping Level 3 Diploma (April 2017), a Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma (December 2016), and a Goalkeeping Level 2 Diploma (December 2016).
