Sergei Elsakov started their work experience as a Wordpress Developer at the Studio of internet-marketing CHEKHOV in July 2016. Sergei developed websites for local business companies, optimizing them with the Yoast plugin for Google search results. In November 2018, they joined Helios Tour Oy as a Tourism Manager, working as a guide and manager. In May 2020, Sergei became a self-employed freelance Software Developer, working on projects such as Formula Spa and Helios Tour. In March 2021, they joined Sofokus as a Software Developer, specializing in full stack development with a focus on the frontend using React projects.

Sergei Elsakov completed their education at Syktyvkar State University from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Social-Cultural Service and Tourism from the Faculty of Management.

In addition to their formal education, Sergei has also earned multiple certifications. In July 2019, they completed the Professional HTML and CSS, level 1 course at HTML Academy. Sergei continued their learning at HTML Academy and obtained the Professional HTML and CSS, level 2 certification in August 2019.

Sergei then expanded their skills by completing the Learn SQL Course at Codecademy in September 2020. In November 2020, they took a Crash Course on Python offered by Google and received a certification.

In February 2021, Sergei completed the Front End Libraries course at freeCodeCamp, further enhancing their programming knowledge. Sergei then obtained the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google in September 2021.

Continuing their professional development, Sergei completed the Back End Development and APIs (Express.js) certification provided by freeCodeCamp in May 2022. Most recently, in December 2022, they participated in the React Day Berlin 2022 event organized by GitNation.
