Hennessey Lustica, PhD, LMHC has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education, counseling, and consulting. Currently, they serve as the Community Schools Mental Health Program Director at Sodus Central School District since January 2020. Hennessey also works as a School Ambassador Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education starting in 2022. Hennessey has extensive experience in academia, having worked as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor at Medaille College since 2019. Additionally, they are the CEO and Co-Founder of TTFS Assessment & Consulting, LLC since March 2019. Prior to that, Hennessey worked as a Mental Health Counselor in Private Practice at Lustica Counseling from January 2013 to March 2022. Their previous roles also include being a School Counselor at Brighton Central School District, School Counselor at Geneva City School District, and School Counselor at Cornwall Central School District. Hennessey has also contributed to the field of education as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Rochester - Warner School of Education and Alfred University. Overall, they combine their expertise in mental health, counseling, education, and leadership to positively impact individuals and communities.

Hennessey Lustica, PhD, LMHC has a strong educational background in counseling and psychology. In 1999, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University at Albany, SUNY. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in School Counseling from Long Island University, from 2001 to 2003.

In 2011, Lustica obtained a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Alfred University. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Rochester, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision from 2013 to 2019.

Additionally, Lustica has obtained relevant certifications to enhance their expertise. In September 2003, they received the New York State Permanent Teacher Certification: K-12 School Counseling from the NYS Department of Education. Hennessey also became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor through the NYS Office of Professions in February 2014.
