Lorenzo Tognini has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lorenzo is currently working at Sodalis Group as an Export Area Manager since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Sodalis Group starting from May 2019. From 2015 to 2019, Tognini worked at Calvo Group as a Brand Manager, where they focused on business development in the mainland China market, managing one of the largest food importers in retail in China. Lorenzo also supervised local service providers during this time. In 2014, Tognini briefly worked at Gucci as a WW Merchandise Planning professional. Before that, they gained intern experience at the Italian Trade Agency as a Trade Analyst in 2013. In 2012, Tognini worked at Siemens as a Smart Grid Business Performance Controller during a stage. Early in their career, they collaborated with Nuova Informazione s.r.l as a writer, focusing on football match analysis and covering transfer news in Italian "Serie A" teams from 2010 to 2011.

Lorenzo Tognini completed their education in a chronological manner. Lorenzo first attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Marketing. Lorenzo then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in International Management from 2008 to 2011.

In 2014 and 2015, Lorenzo attended Shanghai University, where they enrolled in the Chinese Language Program. During this time, they focused on studying the Chinese language.

Apart from their formal education, Lorenzo also obtained a certification known as Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) 5 in June 2015 from Hanban Confucius Institute.
