Michael Harrison is the Co-Founder & Mathematician at Socratica. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Google from July 2007 to February 2013. Michael also worked as a Quantitative Analyst at First Quadrant from November 2003 to July 2007 where they developed predictive models for both equities & derivatives. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Bank One from December 2002 to November 2003. Michael started their career as a Software Engineer at Merrill Lynch from June 2000 to November 2002. Michael has also worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Mercer County Community College from June 1999 to June 2000 and at Middlesex County College from August 1998 to May 1999 where they taught a full-range of math courses.

Michael Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Caltech. Michael then pursued a Master of Science / All But Dissertation in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
