Tesfaye Mengesha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields and roles.

Tesfaye started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Jimma University in 2010 and later became an Electrical Engineer/Assistant Lecturer.

In 2014, Tesfaye worked as a Software Research Engineer at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, followed by roles such as a Game Developer and a Computer Vision Researcher at the University of Trento.

From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Control Engineer at SSE - Sirio Sistemi Elettronici S.p.A.

From 2017 to 2019, Tesfaye worked as a Software Engineer at Justice Systems Corporation.

Tesfaye then joined Omron Automation in 2019 as a Solutions Engineer, a role they held until 2021.

Currently, Tesfaye is a Solutions Engineer at Socotra, starting in October 2021.

Tesfaye Mengesha earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University from 2006 to 2010. Tesfaye then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering with a specialization in Robotics from Università di Trento between 2012 and 2014. In addition to their formal education, Tesfaye also obtained several certifications including an Advanced C++ Programming Training from Udemy in October 2016, as well as edX Verified Certificates for Principles of Machine Learning and Data Science Orientation in September and August 2016 respectively.
