Akash Kumar is a Blockchain Developer currently working at Socket since April 2023. Prior to this role, Akash served as a Senior Protocol Engineer at Round Finance from July 2020 to September 2023, where the focus was on building an aggregator of digital assets and experiences. Akash co-founded the Blockchain Club at IIT Bombay in 2018, inspired by participation in ETHIndia, and held the position of Web Manager at The Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT Bombay from April 2018 to April 2019. Additional experience includes a position as a Blockchain Developer at WandX, working on backend implementation and confidential transactions using zero-knowledge proofs. Akash began involvement in technical communities as a member of the Web and Coding Club at IIT Bombay from March 2017 to March 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, acquired in 2020.
