Mahesh Gupta is a Professor and Chair at Kennesaw State University since August 2016 and serves as President of Plastic Flow, LLC since February 2002. Gupta has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Extrusion Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers since July 2006, having chaired the Student Chapter Activity Committee from 2006 to 2010. Prior academic positions include Professorship at Michigan Technological University from September 1994 to August 2016 and Research Associate at Cornell University from September 1990 to August 1994, where Gupta developed software for injection molding simulation, which was subsequently marketed by AC Technology, later acquired by Moldflow and now part of Autodesk. Additionally, Gupta worked as a Private Consultant for Moldflow and served as an Engineer at Tata Motors in 1986. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and both an M.Tech. and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
