Yang (John) Qiao is a resident physician specializing in Integrated Interventional Radiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, having held this position since July 2020 and serving as Chief Resident for 2024-2025. With a strong background in research and innovation, Qiao is involved in the Society of Interventional Radiology's Research & Innovation Committee focused on Interventional Oncology and is the Founder & CEO of RadioClash, Inc., which develops an interventional oncology access platform for electroporation therapy. Previous experience includes research collaboration at Stanford Health Care and a residency in General Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, along with various teaching assistant and research assistant roles. Qiao holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology with a minor in Economics from McGill University.
