Delaram Kahrobaei is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as Co-Chair for the Trimester on Post-quantum Algebraic Cryptography at the Institut Henri Poincaré, and as a Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at Queens College. In addition to these roles, Kahrobaei is a Visiting Professor at the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques and holds honorary positions at the University of York, including Honorary Visiting Professor of Computer Science and Honorary Chair of Cyber Security. An Adjunct Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Kahrobaei also contributes as a Board Member for the Friends of IHES and serves as an Associate Editor for the SIAM Journal on Applied Algebra and Geometry, as well as for De Gruyter's Journal of Mathematical Cryptology and Springer Nature Group’s La Matematica. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mathematics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, complemented by advanced degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Additional qualifications include certificates in Women in Leadership from Cornell University and in Entrepreneurship from the National Science Foundation.
