Damon Korb, MD has extensive experience in the field of child development. Damon is the Founder/Director of the Center for Developing Minds, where they perform assessments of children and young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and behavior problems. Damon also supervises a team of clinicians. Additionally, Damon Korb is an author and has written a book called "Raising an Organized Child" which explores the aspects of organization beyond just cleanliness. Damon has served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Parents Helping Parents and as the Immediate Past President of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, where they advocate for an integrated approach to child development. In the past, they founded and directed the Center for Learning and Achievement at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
Damon Korb, MD completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychobiology at the University of Southern California from 1986 to 1990. Damon then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they completed an Internship and Residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine from 1994 to 1997. Finally, Dr. Korb finished their education with a Fellowship in Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1998 to 2000.
