Ashequl Islam, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School - Baystate. With a strong background in cardiology, Ashequl holds multiple leadership roles at Baystate Health, including Associate Chief of the Division of Cardiology and Director of Strategic Development and Growth for the Heart and Vascular Program. Additionally, Ashequl is the Medical Director of the Valvular Heart Disease Program and has been instrumental in educating peers as the President of the New England Valve and Structural Heart Foundation. Ashequl's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and advanced medical training at prestigious institutions including Harvard Medical School.
