Stuart McDowell has extensive experience in technology and operations, particularly within the financial sector. McDowell currently serves as the UK Chief Information Officer and UK Head of Technology & Operations for Fixed Income, Credit & Currencies at Societe Generale, previously holding the position of Global Head of Client Connectivity. Prior to Societe Generale, McDowell was the European Head of Client Connectivity at Credit Suisse and worked as a Project Manager at Omiris Networks Ltd and Rabobank International. Earlier in the career, McDowell was a Team Leader in the Equity Global Application Support Group at Salomon Brothers International Ltd. McDowell holds a 2.1 (Hons) degree in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh, earned between 1990 and 1994.
