Eric Groven is currently the Head of Real Estate France at Société Générale. Eric has held this position since May of 2002. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Branch Conseil Retail Banking at Capgemini from October 2000 to May 2002. From January 1997 to December 2000, they were the Directeur de Groupe Paris Victor Hugo at Société Générale. From 1993 to 1997, they worked as the Directeur de la Gestion Financiere du Groupe at Groupe Crédit du Nord. Eric started their career in 1989 as an Inspecteur des Finances at the Ministère du Budget, des comptes publics, de la fonction publique et de la réforme de l'Etat.
Eric Groven studied at the ENA - Ecole nationale d'administration, Sciences Po, HEC Paris, and the Institut Palladio. Eric is a sociétaire of the latter institution.
Eric Groven reports to Philippe Aymerich, Deputy CEO, French Retail Banking, IT, Real Estate and Sourcing. They are on a team with Marie-Christine Ducholet - Head of Clients Retail Banking France, Patrick Folléa - Deputy Head of Private Banking, France, and Laurent Goutard - Head of Societe Generale Retail Banking in France.
