Iulian Stanciu is an experienced nuclear safety expert with a strong background in nuclear engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Nuclear Safety Expert at Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA, Iulian also held the position of Project Director at RoPower Nuclear, contributing to the development of the first small modular reactor in Europe. Prior roles include Nuclear Safety Engineering Consultant at LeaderBiz Engineering and Section Manager of Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineering at Ontario Power Generation, where involvement in the Darlington Nuclear Refurbishment Project and Darlington SMR Project was prominent. Iulian's extensive experience in leadership positions spans various companies, including Director General roles and strategic development positions, coupled with a robust educational foundation that includes an MBA from BBS-ASE, a Master of Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a diploma in process engineering from the Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest.
