Clinton Ballard, MS, currently serves as a Validation Engineer III at Bend Bioscience since January 2023. Previously, Clinton held the position of Senior Validation Engineer at Philip Morris International, focusing on the Tobacco Cast Leaf Manufacturing Line. From January 2015 to August 2022, Clinton worked at Medtronic as a Project Quality Manager, overseeing over 500 manufacturing projects in sterile environments and ensuring compliance with QMS programs and 21 CFR regulations. Clinton's early career includes roles as a Validation Engineer at CorePharma LLC, where responsibility included qualifying critical utilities for drug manufacturing, and as a Validation & Compliance Specialist at both Johnson & Johnson and Merck, where validation efforts supported significant projects and regulatory approvals. Clinton earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Temple University and a Master of Science in Drug Regulatory Affairs from Long Island University.
