Biljana Nikolova, PhD GAICD, serves as the Director of Impact Investing at Social Ventures Australia since March 2024, focusing on social impact investing, capacity building, and market development, particularly in First Nations and housing. Previously, Biljana held various leadership roles at National Australia Bank from November 2012 to December 2023, including General Manager for the Government, Education, Communities and Indigenous Business sector, where significant revenue growth, balance sheet expansion, and high employee satisfaction were achieved. Other positions at NAB included Chief Operating Officer for Global C&IB Coverage, Director of Consumer Services, and Head of Performance. Biljana's career also includes experience as an Honorary Fellow at Macquarie University and investment roles at National Australia Bank and ANZ Investment Bank. Educational achievements include an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, a Board Ready Certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a PhD in Banking and Finance from UNSW.
