Selma Omerbegovic is a Research Analyst at Social Solutions International, Inc. since November 2024, with prior experience as an Analyst at the American Institutes for Research, focusing on USAID/BiH Monitoring and Evaluation Support (MEASURE I) from December 2022 to November 2024. Omerbegovic served as a Political Intern for the European Union Special Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina from October 2021 to October 2022 and held coordinating roles for outgoing and incoming exchanges at AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina between July 2020 and August 2021. An internship at Documenta - Centre for Dealing with the Past occurred in June and July 2021, and Omerbegovic also worked as a Junior Researcher at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology on a peace mapping project in the Balkan region in 2018. Omerbegovic holds a Master's degree in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe from the Global Campus of Human Rights and a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, along with an IB Diploma from Ionios School and a MYP from the International School of The Hague.
