Lisa Mullinger Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Lisa began their career in 2003 as a Lead Cantor at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. In 2007, they took on roles as an Actress, Singer, and Pianist at the Martin City Melodrama and Vaudeville Company, as well as a Developing Trainer at Romano's Macaroni Grill. In 2008, they became the Retail Services Manager at Lakeview Village Inc., and in 2011 they were an Assistant Manager- Dining Services at the same company, as well as an Instructor on Record and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kansas. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Colonial Life as a Territory Recruiter and District General Agent, overseeing recruiting systems and training for the state of Kansas and Western-Missouri territory, increasing weekly number of interviews by 300%, and improving quality of hired agents with a more detailed and consistent interviewing process. Since 2019, they have been the Operations & Business Development Manager at Social Security Solutions, Inc.

Lisa Mullinger Harris began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City and obtained a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice Performance in 2007. Lisa then attended The University of Kansas from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Music Degree in Music History, Literature, and Theory. In 2013, Lisa returned to The University of Kansas to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Musicology, which they completed in 2017. In 2005, Lisa attended the American Institute of Musical Studies, although it is unclear what they studied there.
