Sofina Tanni is an accomplished professional with a strong background in social sciences and leadership within academic and research settings. Currently serving as a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council since December 2021, Sofina has previously held key roles such as Vice President of Campus Affairs at the CCNY Undergraduate Student Government and Undergraduate Research Assistant at The City College of New York. Additional experience includes serving as a Senator at the same student government, a Library Page at The New York Public Library, and directing the UNESCO Committee for the Change the World International Model United Nations. Sofina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The City College of New York and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Anthropology at Hunter College.
