Rafael Castelltort has over 14 years of experience in e-commerce in Mexico. Rafael began their career in 1996 as a Strategic Planning Manager at Satmex. In 2005, they moved to ING Mexico as a Subdirector of Strategic Planning. In 2007, they joined Walmart Mexico and Centroamerica as the Director of e-Commerce Superama and Supercenter. In 2008, they were promoted to Subdirector of e-Commerce and Subdirector of Memberships and Multichannel Sales at Sam's Club. In 2014, they became the Director of e-Commerce Organization at Soriana. In 2021, they began working as an independent consultant in e-commerce and digital transformation. Most recently, they co-founded Social Piper, a solution for managing social media for small businesses and professionals using artificial intelligence.
Rafael Castelltort obtained their Licenciatura in Ingeniero Industrial from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México between the years of 1994 and 1998. Rafael then went on to pursue an MBA from Esade between 2003 and 2005.
