Nicole Bottrell has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Nicole currently holds the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at Social Garden, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Compliance Committee Member at Equity-One starting in October 2015. Nicole also held various positions at Visual Domain, including Chief Financial Officer from June 2021 to March 2023 and Head of Finance from November 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they worked at Culture Amp as Finance Operations & Performance Lead from March 2020 to November 2020 and as a Senior FP&A Business Partner from April 2019 to February 2020. Nicole was a Senior Financial Accountant at Cotton On Group from October 2018 to March 2019 and worked as a Commercial Finance Business Partner at Target Australia from February 2017 to October 2018. Nicole also has experience as a Director at Maze Accounting from July 2011 to February 2017, where they provided business advisory services. Additionally, they served as a Client Manager at O'Shanassy Chartered Accountant from May 2011 to December 2014, focusing on taxation and accounting advice for businesses. Nicole started their career as a Management Accountant at Australian Unity and later worked as an Accountant in the Business Services Division at Moore Stephens Australia.

Nicole Bottrell completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting from Swinburne University of Technology from 2003 to 2007. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate IV of training and assessment from Gordon Institute of Tafe. Furthermore, they completed the Chartered Accountants Program from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2007 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Nicole Bottrell became an Intuit QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor (AU) in December 2014. Additionally, they are a Registered Tax Agent, obtained through the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand institute.
