Matthew Vang is currently the Coordinator for Public Policy and Government Relations at SoCal Grantmakers, where responsibilities include tracking legislation and supporting member advocacy efforts. Previously, Vang served as a Program Coordinator at the University of Southern California and worked as a Health Policy Intern for Covered California, focusing on demographic data and healthcare access. As a Community Organizer and Fellow at Hmong Innovating Politics, significant contributions included grassroots mobilization for youth justice and civic engagement. Additionally, Vang gained experience as a Seeding Change Fellow, promoting a national Asian American movement for social justice. Vang's educational background includes a Master's degree from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from California State University, Fresno, and an Associate's degree in Biology from Clovis Community College.
