Isabel Meza has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they began their career as a Junior Specialist, Java Developer at CITI-Complejo de Investigaciones Tecnologicas Integradas, where they were responsible for database analysis and design, business process analysis, development of web applications to manage criminal registries, design and implementation of dashboards using Oracle BI, and modeling and implementation of business processes using Oracle BPM Suite. In 2012, they were a BPM modeling teacher at Instituto Superior Politécnico “José Antonio Echeverría” (CUJAE). In this role, they planned and prepared lectures and practical classes about business process design and implementation using BPMN and Oracle BPM Suite, provided lectures on business process modeling to classes of Industrial and Software Engineering students, and monitored student progress through test administration and adapted learning plans to optimize progress. In 2013, they became a Junior Specialist, Java and .NET developer at DATYS, where they were responsible for database analysis and design, design and implementation of processes using Oracle BPM Suite, and development of desktop applications using C# and .NET. In 2014, they were promoted to Senior Specialist, Analyst and Project Manager at DATYS, where they were responsible for analysis and design of software solutions, leading interactivity between different developer teams and projects, and leading and coordinating solution deployments both domestic and foreign. From 2016 to 2020, they were self-employed as a Business System Analyst, responsible for gathering, defining, and analyzing business requirements, working side by side with the Developer Lead to distribute and prioritize the work according to business partners' expectations, and supporting Quality Assurance engineers providing requirement and acceptance criteria clarifications and issues resolutions to deliver the functionalities with quality and according to the business's expectations. In 2020, they began working as Business and Quality Manager at Soap Health, where they are responsible for gathering, defining, and analyzing business requirements, working side by side with the Developer Lead to distribute and prioritize the work according to business partners' expectations, test case preparation and execution, consolidation of business rules for system enhancements, and development of flowcharts and diagrams to describe and layout logical operational steps.
Isabel Meza received their Software Engineering (Ingeniería Informática) degree from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría” in 2011. In 2020, they obtained a Scrum Foundations Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf.
