Samuel Matsikure is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advocacy, program development, and capacity building for LGBTI communities in Zimbabwe. Currently serving as the Team Lead for Key Populations at Soa Aids Nederland since April 2023, Samuel previously held the role of Programmes Manager at GALZ from January 2013 to April 2023, focusing on health services, counselling, and human rights documentation. With a career that began as an Art and Design Educationist at Mkoba 3 High School, Samuel transitioned into the LGBTI movement, advocating for rights and access to services. Educational qualifications include a Master in Human Rights from Africa University and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies from Women's University in Africa, among other degrees and diplomas. Samuel has also served as Chair of African Men On Sexual Health and Rights and contributed to various publications and research initiatives.
