Alvin Jou is a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake since April 2022, previously holding various engineering roles at Tableau Software from June 2016 to March 2022, including Software Engineering LMTS and Senior Software Engineer. At Tableau, Alvin led cross-organizational collaborations, designed new interfaces and calculation syntaxes to enhance feature composability, and developed services for improved client access to analytic features. Prior experience includes teaching assistantship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and internships at Tableau and Epic, focusing on software development and user interface improvements. Alvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
