Kyle Cartmell is an experienced engineering and software development professional, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Snout since March 2022. Prior to this role, Cartmell worked as a Freelance Software Engineer at Special Chicken Labs from July 2013 to April 2022 and held various positions including Staff Software Engineer at Screencastify and Chief Technology Officer at Alternate 36. Cartmell has also contributed as Vice President of Engineering and Senior Director of Product at Building Engines, Inc., and as Chief Technology Officer at Synlio. Additional experience includes roles at Choice Hotels International, PetSmart, meltmedia, and CWIE. Cartmell's educational background includes studies in Computer Science at both Arizona State University and Pima Community College.
