Sebastian E. has a strong background in network and security engineering, with a focus on cyber defense. Sebastian started their career at OneLaw (Pty) Ltd in 2012, where they worked as a Junior Network and Security Administrator until 2015. Sebastian then joined Flemix & Associates Incorporated as a Network and Security Administrator for a brief period of time. Sebastian then moved on to SensePost, where they worked as an IT Support Engineer from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they joined King Price Insurance as a Network and Security Engineer, a role they held until 2021. Sebastian then joined Porcupine Union in 2020 as a Network and Security Engineer. Currently, they are working at Snode Technologies, where they have held multiple roles, including Cyber Defense Specialist, Cyber Defense Lead, and currently as the Defense Engineer Lead.

Sebastian E. began their education in 2011 at CTU, where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Sebastian obtained a Master's Certification in IT Professional (MCITP) from CTU. In addition to their academic pursuits, Sebastian has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they earned the CCNA - Security certification from Cisco. Sebastian further expanded their expertise by obtaining the CompTIA Security+ certification in September 2018 and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in January 2018. Sebastian also earned the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in December 2018. In 2019, they obtained the DevOps Fundamentals certification from PeopleCert and the COBIT 2019 certification from ISACA. Furthermore, in November 2019, Sebastian achieved the ITIL Foundation Level certification from Pink Elephant. Most recently, in July 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification from CompTIA.
