Tom Plasschaert has extensive work experience in the marketing and business development field. Tom started their career at Georgia-Pacific LLC in 1998 as a Program Development and Category Management manager, where they managed a senior group of program managers and oversaw activities such as product development, program launch, marketing, POS analysis, and price management.
In 2002, Tom moved on to BlueLinx, where they held various roles such as Director of Business Development and National Sales Manager for Lowe's. During their time at BlueLinx, they were responsible for program improvement and business development for the company's National Account department. Tom also built relationships with leading companies in the industry and managed national sales forces.
Tom joined Snavely Forest Products in 2014, initially working as the Mass Merchant Channel Manager. In this role, they focused on business development within the mass merchant retail channel and built partnerships with top executives and brand vendors. Tom later became the Director of Marketing and Product Development and eventually the Vice President of Marketing Mass Merchant Sales, further showcasing their expertise in marketing and sales.
