Edwin Lubanga has over nine years of work experience in the technology field. In 2018, they co-founded Snark Health and currently serves as the CTO. At Snark Health, they lead technology development to help patients improve their access to healthcare and lower their cost of care. From 2015 to 2016, they were the CTO of KnownAfrique LLP and led the tech development for HAKI Application. In 2020, they were selected to the Berkeley University Blockchain Xcelerator program and received mentorship and training. From 2016 to 2017, they were the IT & Application Support Lead at Pawame. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Technology Projects Lead at Nairobi Design Week, where they were responsible for leading technology projects, assisting in strategic planning, leading events, and representing the organization in various meetings. From 2013 to 2014, they were the CIO of SaveSquared, where they were backed by the UKTI and moved to London to establish the business. In 2013, they were an Intern at GTT - Gruppo Torinese Trasporti S.p.A. Finally, from 2011 to 2012, they were an Intern at Telecom Italia Information Technology (TI.IT) s.r.l., where they focused on User Centered Design (UCD) process for Augmented Reality Application functionality.
Edwin Lubanga is currently enrolled in Draper University's Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship(FOE), Batch 7 program. Prior to this, they completed their Telecommunications Engineering degree from Politecnico di Torino between 2008 and 2013. In addition, they have obtained two certifications - one from Draper University in September 2021 and one from StackSkills in October 2018 for Blockchain Technology: A Guide To The Blockchain Ecosystem.
