R. Alp Guler is a skilled Computer Vision Engineer and Manager at Snap Inc. since September 2020 and a Co-Founder and Chief of R&D at Ariel AI since November 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College London from February 2019 to September 2020 and as a Researcher PhD Student at Inria from September 2015 to October 2018. Guler also gained experience at Facebook AI as a Research Intern in mid-2017 and served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Sabanci University from September 2012 to August 2015. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ecole Centrale Paris (2015-2019) and both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sabanci University (2008-2014).
