Jason Jong has held several roles in various companies throughout their career. In 2018, they co-founded Sapling Intelligence, where they stayed until 2019. In 2016, they started working for DoorDash as an engineering manager, a position they held until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they worked for Modern Treasury as an engineering lead. Currently, they are a co-founder and CTO of Snag Solutions, where they have been working since 2022.

Jason Jong attended Stanford University where they received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Jason then continued their studies at the same university and earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science. In 2019, Jason participated in the Y Combinator program, but did not receive a degree or focus in a specific field of study.
