Randal Leistikow is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering and Software Architect at Smule, Inc. since March 2012. Prior to this role, Randal held the position of Software Engineer at Zenph Studios, Inc. from July 2005 to March 2012 and at Ordinate Corp. / Harcourt Assessment from 2002 to 2005. Randal's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Based Music Theory and Acoustics from Stanford University, earned in 2006, and a Bachelor of Music in Applied Music with a focus on Percussion Performance from the Eastman School of Music, completed in 1997.
