Phil Battle is an experienced professional in strategic account management and business development, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Accounts at SMT GB since September 2020. In addition, Phil Battle holds an advisory role as a Member of the Independent Remuneration Panel for North Yorkshire Council since May 2024. Previous roles include leadership positions at Finning UK & Ireland, where Phil Battle was the Head of Strategic Accounts and held various managerial roles from 2017 to 2020, and at Finning (Canada) from 2013 to 2017. Earlier career milestones include significant positions at Lafarge and Tarmac. Phil Battle is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Innovation, Enterprise & Circular Economy at the University of Bradford, expected to complete in July 2026.
