Karan Bakshi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Karan began their career at Basant Overseas in 1997, where they served as a Director until 2002. From 1999 to 2002, Karan worked as a Consultant at Impexa. In 2004, they joined Freddie Mac as a Consultant and stayed with the company until 2012. In 2007, Karan co-founded Insigma Inc and held the position of Co-Founder & Vice-President until August 2021. Starting in 2008, they also worked as a Consultant at Fannie Mae for a year. In 2016, Karan took on the role of President at both Vision Group Inc and Vision IoT Inc, where they focused on their leadership responsibilities. In 2019, they became the President & CEO of Maxerience Inc, a position they still hold. Most recently, in September 2021, Karan assumed the role of President at SMSB Consulting Group.
Karan Bakshi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Delhi University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Karan then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, they furthered their education by completing another Master's degree in Computer Science at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in 2002.
