Amber Backus is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in system administration and network operations. Currently serving as a System Administrator at Grupo SMS Data Center since January 2015, Amber also holds a position as a Noc Analyst at Grupo-SMS, where responsibilities include monitoring phones and troubleshooting network issues. Prior experience includes work as an Electrical and Environmental Technician in the USAF, where skills in troubleshooting and team management were developed, and an IT Helpdesk Intern role at VC3, focusing on various enterprise systems. Amber earned a degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Security Analysis from DeVry University and has ongoing education from the University of South Carolina - Sumter and Midlands Technical College.
