Ohad Maishar has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Ohad started their career at Social Fabrics in 2008 as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in designing and building the client-side application, as well as server-side architecture design and data mining algorithms. Ohad then moved on to work at Rafael in 2006 as a Software Engineer, where they played a key role in the development of a state-of-the-art tactical reconnaissance system. Their responsibilities included infrastructure development, worldwide client support, and supervising on-site deployments and operations. In 2010, Ohad joined Varonis as a Software Engineer, specializing in MS Exchange. Ohad designed and developed auditing systems for Outlook Web Access and ActiveSync. Ohad also served as an R&D Team Leader from 2012 to 2015. Currently, Ohad is the VP of R&D at Smore, a position they have held since 2015.

Ohad Maishar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Software Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Ohad pursued this degree from 2002 to 2006.
