Réka Simon-Bálint has been working in various roles since 2004. Réka began their career as a Tour Guide at Scandorama in 2004, and then worked as a Consultant at Academic Work in 2010. In 2009, they completed their Master Thesis at RUAG Space AB, and then returned to the same company in 2010 as a Senior Materials and Processes Engineer. Most recently, they began working at Smoltek in 2022 as an R&D Project Manager and Industrialization Manager.

Réka Simon-Bálint attended Chalmers University of Technology from 2003 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics and Materials.
