Sam Cullum has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and engineering. Starting in 2006, they worked for ADT as an Alarm & CCTV system Installation Engineer until 2010. Sam then joined safeguard security in 2012 as a Security System Installation Engineer. In 2014, they worked at Grosvenor Technology as a Software Test Engineer, specializing in web application testing. In 2016, they joined Coderus as a Software Test Engineer, focusing on mobile application testing and desktop application testing. From 2017 to 2021, Sam worked at Smokeball - Legal Software as a QA Manager, overseeing verification of multiple projects and managing a team of software testers. In 2021, they joined Cochlear as a Senior Software Verification Engineer, and later in the same year, they worked at Law Partners Personal Injury Lawyers as a Software Tester. Currently, Sam holds the position of Global Head of Data Migrations at Smokeball Australia.
Sam Cullum has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security & Forensic Computing, which was obtained from Anglia Ruskin University from 2012 to 2016. They also have a City and Guilds Level 3 degree in Electrotechnical Technology from the University of Suffolk, which was attained from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, Sam has certifications from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, including Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL-TM) obtained in 2019 and ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) obtained in 2016.
