Mark Murphy has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Mark started their career as a Campus Dining Intern at ARAMARK Refreshment Services in 2003. In 2004, they joined Dietz and Watson as a Sales/Marketing Intern and then became an Account Manager from 2006 to 2008. Mark then worked as a Procurement Manager at Rita's Italian Ice from 2008 to 2011. Mark subsequently joined Dietz and Watson again as a Key Account Manager from 2011 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been working at Smithfield Foods, starting as a Regional Sales Manager until 2017. Mark was promoted to Director of Sales and then became the Senior Director of Sales in 2022.
Mark Murphy earned a High School Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Father Judge High School in 2001. Mark then went on to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Food Marketing from Saint Joseph's University, completing their degree in 2006. Continuing their education, Mark pursued an Executive Master's of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Food Marketing at Saint Joseph's University, which they completed in 2018.
