Sean Thomson is an accomplished Business Development Manager for Europe at Smithers, an independent laboratory specializing in testing and consulting for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, since January 2010. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at Sabic Innovative Plastics from August 2000 to January 2009, including Industry Manager for Healthcare, where responsibilities encompassed developing marketing strategies, managing product portfolios, and assessing new market opportunities. Previous roles at Sabic included Application Development Specialist and Technical Engineer, focusing on business development and providing technical support across multiple industries. Sean holds a BEng Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Plymouth, completed in 2000.
