Samantha Tham is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and quality management within the medical technology industry. Currently serving as Vice President Regional Regulatory and Commercial Quality at Smith+Nephew since January 2014, Samantha has previously held various leadership roles, including Senior Director Regulatory Affairs - EU MDR RA Lead and Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Director ANZ. Prior experience includes positions as Director Regulatory Affairs at the Medical Technology Association of Australia and Regulatory and Quality Manager at CR Bard. Samantha's career began as a Biomedical Engineer at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust and spans various other roles, including Medical Affairs Associate and Medical Devices Specialist. Samantha holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering with Bioengineering from UCL.
