Jackquan Jones has a solid background in law enforcement, currently serving as a Deputy and Jailer with the Smith County Sheriff since June 2017. Prior to this role, Jackquan worked as a Police Officer for the City of Palestine, Texas, from 2015 to 2017. Educationally, Jackquan completed the Texas Basic Peace Officer License program at the Tyler Junior College Law Enforcement Academy in 2015, after earning a degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Tyler Junior College between 2008 and 2013.
