Gennadiy Umerenko is an experienced maritime professional with a strong background in marine operations and management. Currently serving as Contract Manager, Marine Operation Lead, and Marine Operations Maintenance Manager at Smit Lamnalco since July 2010, Gennadiy has developed extensive expertise in marine operations. Prior to this role, Gennadiy worked as a Mooring Master at SOLL-R (SMIT) from April 2006 to June 2010, overseeing mooring and loading operations for Suezmax and Aframax tankers at CPC-R Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk, Russia. Gennadiy's earlier career includes positions as Master and Chief Officer with V.Ships Norway from November 2000 to April 2006, and various roles within UNICOM (Sovcomflot) and Novorossiysk Shipping Company from June 1995 to May 1995, where navigational duties were performed on a range of tanker types. Gennadiy graduated as a Navigator in Navigation from the Maritime State Academy named after Admiral F. F. Ushakov in 1989.
