Rien Ossenblok is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within various sectors. Currently serving as SHEQ-manager at Smet Group since January 2018, Rien oversees internal prevention and protection services, as well as ISO and environmental compliance. Prior roles include project engineer at Smet Boring N.V. since September 2009, where Rien effectively manages project parameters of cost, quality, and time through stakeholder coordination. Past experience encompasses positions at DEME Group as a project- and HSQE-engineer, and at Philips innovative applications, where improvements in production efficiency and quality were prioritized as a project engineer. Additionally, Rien held roles at Philips as a production engineer and led the plano finishing department at Van Genechten Biermans. A solid educational background includes a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from UC Leuven-Limburg and a Master in Industrial Engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
