Nicholas Letzkus is a marketing communications specialist at the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. since May 2023. Previously, Nicholas served as a public affairs associate at the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority from March 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included drafting and editing press releases, annual reports, and newsletters, as well as distributing media coverage reports. Nicholas also held the position of public affairs intern at the same organization from June 2018 to March 2019, managing media reports and assisting with emergency communication efforts. Earlier experience includes a legislative intern role for Councilperson Erika Strassburger, focusing on drafting proclamations and resolving constituent issues. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Pittsburgh, completed in 2017, and attended Duquesne University in 2013-2014.
