Trey Byrd has a diverse professional background within the logistics and insurance sectors. Currently, Trey serves as a Freight Broker at SmartWay Transportation Inc., a non-asset based logistics provider based in Kansas City, Missouri, since February 2016. Prior to this role, Trey was a District Manager at Valet Waste, LLC from January 2015 to February 2016, and a Producer at Brush Creek Partners, a full-service risk management and insurance firm, from September 2013 to December 2014. Earlier career experience includes working as an Underwriting Analyst at MetLife from April 2013 to September 2013, and as a Wealth Management Intern at UBS during the summer of 2011. Trey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from The University of Kansas, completed in 2012.
